Kinvara, Co. Clare
Kinvara is situated in South County Galway, Ireland, just on the edge of the world renowned "Burren" on Galway Bay. Often described in tourist guides and other publications as a "Picturesque Seaside Village", this is a description that not many will argue with.
Kinvara is host to two wonderful festivals each year. Cruinniu na mBad, meaning "Gathering of the Boats", is a festival held in August each year, which brings us back in time, to when the majestic Galway Hookers used to transport turf/peat to Kinvara. 2002 will be the 24nd anniversary of the festival. And Fleadh na gCuach, meaning "The Cuckoo Festival" is a Traditional Irish Music Festival held on the May Bank Holiday Weekend. Heading for its 9th year.
Matted in forest green and framed beautifully in either black or cherry wood. Print dated and signed by artist.
