An Ri Collection An Ri Collection
Lough Ree takes its name from the Irish word Rí, meaning
King. In earlier times, native Irish, viking invaders and
the more passive monks, vied for control of this majestic
and beautiful part of the River Shannon. The An Rí collection is inspired by the Ardagh Chalice, designed by monks who
lived on the Shannon's shores.

Cara Collection
Lough Cara in County Mayo is one of the Trinity Lakes. The lakes can be seen from the summit of Croagh Patrick Mountain where, legend has it, St. Patrick proclaimed the trinity using the Shamrock. The Cara Collection, is based on the Celtic trinity knot, used by monks to represent the Trinity in illuminated manuscripts.
