For those of you who are visiting our Irish Pet Page for the first time this is our Jack, a "Shortie" or "Puddin" Jack Russell Terrier who came to us from County Galway in Ireland on 19 December 2003, through Violet Meadow Farms.   Jack was born on a farm in Co. Galway where all of the puppies are allowed to roam free on the farm with the older dogs and can be seen playing with the sheep and goats. The Jacks also play with the children on the farm and the frequent visitors from the neighboring farms. I think that's what makes him so special, he seems to love just about everyone.

He's quite the lad our Jack!  His favorite sport is swimming and thankfully we live just up the road from a lake.  However for those days when Mom and Dad are just too busy to go to the lake we purchased Jack a "kiddy" pool.  We now have to spell the words "pool"; and "swimming" to keep him from nagging us all day!!
